Weekend Dinner Night Out

We had two delicious dinner last weekend. I'll explain from the beginning.

For Saturday:-
Jia Ning, my cousin who is 21 this year, knows one steamboat place in Puchong which is really nice. I forgot the name of the restaurant she mentioned. When we reach there, it was self-service. I find this is like a buffet restaurant in a hotel. Well, the buffet has lots of variety to choose from. One side is cooked, the other side is for you to cooked with. After we get our food, we ate our chicken wings, which is very delicious, while waiting for the steamboat pot to come out.
And finally it came. What's unique is that the top part is for BBQ!! Now I understand why it's called BBQ! Ha ha! Anyways, a lady puts butter and chicken skin on top. It's used as oil. We decided to barbeque our food first because the water hasn't boiled yet.
We really had a good time eating and chatting with our family members.

For Sunday (which is yesterday):-
Me and my dad were planning to celebrate my mom's birthday that night since we don't have time to celebrate her actual birthday on Monday. We actually planned on going to Secret Recipe that night. But when we're driving along the road in Taman Segar, we saw that Italian restaurant is opened for business again!! At first, we thought they closed down. But no, they're back in business. The name of that restaurant is called Venezia
So many people inside there having dinner. We order a pizza that is the same name as the place and two main course. I like my mom's dish better.
I would like to say Happy Birthday, mama!! I'll love you always!!!

Home Made Cupcakes

Yesterday my mom baked her very own delicious chocolate cupcakes for my relatives that came down from Penang, my Maths teacher and the church group. It was like the old times. Which means it was still delicious><!! I like it so much. At first, we taste it plain. But later, my mom added icing and decoration onto them. And here's the example below:-

Personally, I don't like cupcakes with icing on it. But I got no choice but to like it.

Painting Day!!

For Arts and Drama class last Wednesday, each group had to cut out anything (animals, shapes, words etc.) out from cardboard and then paint of colour them with crayons/poster paint on a mahjong paper.
Well, for our group, me and the four other members did sea creatures living under the sea. And we decided to call our painting, "Under The Sea!" And we also sing the tune from it. Ha ha!!
Here's our masterpiece below. I didn't have the chance to take a photo of other group's artwork since we're the only group that finishes the first :p.

Play Dough Models

During Arts and Drama class last Wednesday, our lecturer ask each groups to make anything we imagine out of our own made play dough. We bought a bowl, flour and food colourings as our materials for the night. Our hands were really filled with food colourings back then. When we washed up, it's difficult to remove the colourings from our hands. Even the bowls. The seniors watches us like parents while we do our work as kids. Ha ha!
Anyways, here's our group's artwork we've done.

4 colourful birds and a turtle eating Pajeon (Korean pancake), I think. Mine is the green bird. Sorry, I don't know how to make it nice like my group members did.

Hang Out

After our computer skills class, I was invited by a friend named Zara to have a light snack at Old Town Kopitiam before our next class starts, which is physical education for young children. There are 8 of us who went there. Girls, of course :). We had fun there. And I had fun too. I hardly hang out with any of my school friends back then. Well, I guess college life is more fun. I'll get use to it soon ;)! 

Off To College Tomorrow

I'm officially accepted to MCKL tomorrow for my orientation. It's a miracle that I'm accepted. Well, it's gonna be hard work from now on. I'll have to try my best and settle things on my own soon. I hope everything will be fine there. I can get to see my school friends there. Well, some of them. Not all are there.

My Daddy's Birthday

Today is my dad's birthday. He's now 54 years old. Wow! Much more older than my mom. Anyhow, we celebrated his birthday with a lovely seafood dinner. No, not those fancy kind you find in big restaurants. Just a small Chinese restaurant. But it's worth to eat. Of course, the price doesn't sound so bad.
But anyways, I wish you Happy Birthday once again, my beloved daddy :)!!
