Christmas Eve Dinner

After our shopping, or I should say walking, my mom cook a delicious Christmas Eve dinner, since my aunt is coming over. We had a massive dinner which includes mussels with cheese and garlic butter, spagetti with chili flakes, mushroom, bacon and mushroom bisque. It was so delicious! I couldn't take a picture because we were so mad hungry to eat. Ha ha!

A Day Out With Family

Today, we went to 1 Utama shopping centre with my parents and cousin. I invited her to come since she's so bored in the college and due to no classes till Monday. Anyways, we didn't walk for that long. We went to MPH bookstore to have a look. My cousin bought a chinese comic. We met up with my mom and dad at the MPH sales just outside the bookstore. Then, we had lunch at Paddington's House of Pancakes. Really nice and they serve not only on pancakes alone but different variety. After lunch, we head to Movie Magic, a video store. Since I couldn't search for the cd that I'm dying for, I bought a Chinese New Year cd instead. On our way up to Parkson, we also bought two VCDs. At least is better than going home empty handed.
Well, I'm happy that I got what I wanted, although not my favorite cd. Who knows maybe I'll get my peace deluxe cd someday =)

Hidden Mickeys!!

It's game time!! We're playing 'Hidden Mickey'! We're gonna find them from the movie 'The Lion King 1 1/2'. Here's how we're gonna play:-

1) There are 20 hidden mickeys in total.
2) Each video has 10 hidden mickeys.
3) Try to spot one in each scene that is played for you.
4) Later, it'll show a circle where the hidden mickey is, if you can't find any.
5) Watch out! It can be tricky.

Movie Day

Today we went to Mid Valley to see a movie 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader' in 3D. It was really fun. The only down about the movie is the sound in the cinema. Really loud. Plus, I drop my bracelet. Luckily it was below my seat. Whew! I didn't even ate our homemade popcorn cause we're quite full after eating lunch. I was so full that I didn't want to eat dinner. Ha ha! Anyways, the whole day is fun with my parents.

The Night At Cowboy Town (A Famosa)

Me and my family were going to A' Famosa for an after-a-major-exam holiday. What a great way to spend my two weeks holidays after all the hard work studying. Anyways, we arrive at our hotel about 4 pm. It was still raining cats and dogs but not so heavily. After we check-in, we check out our hotel room before we go down to the nearby restaurant to eat. Once we're stuffed, we drove back to our hotel and rest for awhile in our room while we wait for 6 pm, because the Cowboy Town only opens daily at 6 pm till 12 midnight. I didn't want to change since we didn't sweat during the journey. But it's kinda freezing cold.
It's almost 7 pm, and I didn't want to wait. It's a good thing Cowboy Town is not so far from our hotel. As we walk near the entrance, we saw some people dress in Christmas costumes, dancing and singing.
I got a video for the whole scene. It's not really clear and there's a lot of people passing by, but I'll let you guys see it.
Finally, we got our headbands and in we go!!
As we enter, we saw a man holding a parrot, asking people for photo taking. But it seems none of them want to take a photo with a parrot. Sorry, my friend. He he! :) Later, we saw two elephants with a trainer, holding a camera. I saw the trainers are encouraging people to come and take a photo of you on the elephants trunk, which lifts you up in the air. Not wanting to go near them, we quickly pass by the elephants.
Not only there are elephants lifting you, there's also an elephant ride, which we didn't go because the price may be costly.
Besides them, there's also a children's theme park, bowling alley, 4D cinema, three restaurants, a massage shop, and many unique buildings like western style. I feel like I'm in Texas!! :D There's also interesting statues or decorations which you can take a photo of yourself.
I'll post some pictures as well.
Since we're not hungry, we went inside a shopping village and see some souvenirs. But unfortunately, they cost a lot than KL. What's the cool thing is that we're actually there to go and see a carnival show. I can't believe the entrance is just inside the shopping village. As we line up to wait for the time to go in, more and more people arrived. Man, it sure is a lot of visitors during the year end holidays!
Finally, it was time to go in. I can't believe it's still raining and plus, the show is like an outdoor stadium. Luckily it's only drizzling. We find a good place to sit down. Unfortunately, the seats are all wet and we have to sit on our old papers. I saw a lot of people sitting/standing up with their umbrellas and raincoats. To tell you the truth, I didn't sit down during the whole performance due to blockage by the visitors =.=
As we wait for the show to start, they put on some good western music as a background music. The time for the show delayed a bit. Don't ask why, okay? After the western music, they put on some Red Indian style music while the emcee announces that the show will begin soon.
After all the waiting, the Red Indian show began to start!! First, they light up the fire in the centre. Then, they began to do some opening dance. Next, the whole area is pitch dark and they began to perform a fire dance. Love the way they shoot up the fire. The Red Indian warriors also picked some volunteers from the audiences in the front seat. Luckily I wasn't in the front seat. Whew! Three only, I believe. They were ask by the warriors to hold the torch, do a dance and make a Red Indian sound. After they guide the three volunteers back to their seat, they began to do a fire dance again. This time no shooting the fire but spinning the torches, like those fire dancers in Hawaii.
That's all I can remember. Now, it's time for a break. Me and my mom tried to go to the toilet outside by not cramming with the whole crowd. After we came back, we saw some people holding sugar canes. They're actually feeding the elephants while waiting for the next performance.
We didn't wait for very long when the emcee announces the next performance, which is the carnival parade from A' Famosa Safari World and of course from the Cowboy Town. I can't remember the sequence well, so I just say the parade by random.
There's the cowboys riding on their horses, cowboys and cowgirls picking some volunteers (again) from the front seat to come out and dance with them, most volunteers are little children about kindergarten/primary school age, men dress as women with big boops, twice our size, clowns, the Red Indian warriors we saw earlier, animals parade, floats (not as big as overseas ones), cartoon mascots and many more. It was so much fun!!
Finally, it was time for the grand finale. The emcee asks us to join him in a countdown. Can you guess what's the display? FIREWORKS, of course. It's kinda beautiful. What a way to end the whole show. We began to countdown again for another fireworks display but........he told us to come back tomorrow. Damn!!=.= Get caught by a prank. No choice but to leave.
Before we go, we had a late dinner at the ranch steak house. We had delicious western meals. It's better than the one we ate the other night before we go to A' Famosa.
We drove back to our hotel, shower up and have a good night's sleep.

Well, that's my experience at the Cowboy Town in A' Famosa. I hope it's not too long for you readers. I'll post the pictures and the video of the dancers at the entrance soon.
