Dinner For Two

Today, I felt so tired since I got up to read the Bible just before I start off another day in my gloomy house. Still feeling tired, I took a nap. A very long snooze. Without my parents snoring, I can sleep in peace. Sigh!
This evening, we had to go out to dinner on our own because my dad just told me last minute he had dinner with his customer. We got so fustrated that we head out to dinner without my grandma and my dad. It was a lovely meal. I had a plate of carbonana spagetti while my mom had butter cream fish rice. Together we had a glass of lemon tea. Since I didn't eat much for lunch so my mom felt pity for me. He he.

Chuzzels!!

Still felt so bored at home, I play some games to cheer myself up. I play "Chuzzels". It was so much fun, matching colors and seeing them pop into the bottle. Hee hee!! Boy, are they cute. There's also one fat chuzzel that blocks every move. But it helps sometimes. What's worst was the lock chuzzel, which means you can't move that role of chuzzels with the chuzzel that has a lock at all. But overall, I like that game. It's smooth and relaxing.

Dinner With Family

After church service, we went to an air-conditioned restaurant near our house. For our dinner, we have pork knuckle (Chinese style), assorted vegetables, yam with stuffed egg yolk prawns, steam fish with garlic and ladies fingers with long beans. Plus, my uncle bought his wine bottle over and we drink. The food wasn't so bad after all.

Spring Clean

Yesterday I was sweeping and vacuuming the floor upstairs in both bedrooms, mine and my parents'. It was a really boiling hot day. I was sweating a lot. But it was a good exercise. Well, now all we gotta do now is to arrange our living room downstairs.

Shopping Again at Sunway

Instead of going to 1 Utama or IOI Mall, we head to Sunway Pyramid for shopping, now bringing along my pregnant aunt. We went to Daiso, a Japanese store, and bought various objects and household things. Of course, RM5 doesn't sound so bad. We only hang around in the complex. Couldn't go in to the theme park though due to high cost and no friends/cousins to go in. But we spend like long hours in there. Boy, my feet are aching again. My life turns from boring to shopping time. But it was a great experience. Just to keep me entertained for awhile.

Night Shopping

After evening service in church, we decided to go to Ikea to have our dinner there at a cafe. And boy, it's really crowded with people. But we manage to find a table though. I had Swedish meatballs, my mom has salmon and my dad has the new meal in the menu, CNY spring chicken, whole.
After dinner, we go our separate ways. Me and my mom went to Borders bookstore to look for a book about childhood things again while my dad head on to Speedy to look for cds. It's for my course anyways. We also went into Ikea to look for some tea lights for our room. Of course, in the end, we did bought various things. My feet are almost killing me.
Well, I did have fun with my family :D. It's way better than sitting around in my house all the time.

SO HOT!!!

The weather here is beginning to look crazy!! First it's cool like winter, now it's like desert outside. What is happening to Malaysia today?! Sigh!!! But we're grateful we're not living in Africa. I bet the weather is more worst than our weather here. I wish it would rain now.

Feeling Bored.....Again!!

Jeez!! After a week of CNY, it's back to the plain old life again. Bored in the house!! I wish I got driving license. Then I could drive anywhere I want! Ha ha! Just kidding. I got nowhere to go eventually. Then again. I feel like I could be free from my prison house.

Fourth Day of CNY

Today we went to a Dim Sum place for our branch. Since we got up quite late, again. While we're eating, we saw a group of lion dancers coming in to have their meal. We thought they're gonna perform a lion dance. But no we're wrong. They just came to have their meal before they perform. They need energy too. Before my relatives send their two daughters back to the colleges and going home to Penang, we hang out at the pet shop. As we got inside, it stinks like mad!! P.U.!! But that golden retriever look so big. Ha ha! Anyways, that's all about my days during CNY. I had so much fun with our family.

Third Day of CNY

We went out to Western Rangers for dinner with my other relatives who came down from Penang. And after dinner, we watch a comedy show. It's in Chinese btw but it's funny. We laughed until our stomach hurts. Lol! Well, it's good to see my cousins again. I wonder when Yue Xin will be coming back from Bahau. Can't wait to see her. And her mom is pregnant again!! Congrats!!

First Day of CNY

My uncle invited us to come and watch a movie called, ''Yogi Bear''. Not in 3D of course, but it'll be more fun. My cousin Vickie invited her neighbor, Maya, to come along. She looks like Eurasian to me.
Anyways, I also got a Libera cd from Singapore too. See here for the photos.
Luckily we watch the afternoon show cause Vickie and her family have to go to Singapore later.
It was fun and better than the live show in Genting. What fun and comedy entertainment. The movie is about two talking bears, Yogi and Boo Boo, who loves to steal picnic baskets from visitors. They live in Jellystone Park, run by Ranger Smith. Suddenly, the major came and tell Smith that the park is closing down due to financal problems. Luckily, a lady name Rachel, who was filming a documentary, came and help set up a 100 anniversary in Jellystone. But unfortunately, it didn't turn out well. Then, it's up to Yogi, Boo Boo, Ranger Smith and Rachel to save the park from the selfish major. Will they make it on time before it's too late? Well, watch the movie yourselves if you haven't watch it yet!
That's all on the first day of CNY. I'll talk more about the second day later.

Photos from Genting

As I said, I've took some photos during the eve. You can see more from my Facebook profile here.

CNY Eve in Genting

We arrived at Genting around 6 pm. So got plenty of time to walk around the plaza instead of the theme parks. I did get some good shots of ourselves. I'll post that later on. My dad wanted to get a cup of coffee due to the misty and cold weather. We went to McDonald to have one. "Didn't you drink one cup yesterday?" I thought.
Anyways, we were about to go to Genting International Convention Centre (GICC) for our show. We waited for very long for our relatives to come cause they have the tickets. After waiting for a very long minute, my uncle Peter showed up, gave us the tickets and in we go!!
My, it's a lot of people inside. Some are spinning the wheel and some are taking photos. We were greeted by some pretty women dressed in sexy cheongsams, a traditional chinese dress worned during CNY.
When we got to our tables, the two hosts greeted us and welcoming us to the show. The show I realised was actually Michelle and Lai Yiu Cheung concert. They're also two famous Hong Kong actor and actress, singing live in concert.
Before the dinner starts, we were welcomed by a big Cai Shen Dao mascot coming down, guided by 20 ladies we saw earlier. And after our yee sang, there was a performance going on. But not the actual one yet. They are a group of six small girls, around 10, 12 or younger still, called Little Angels and a lady by the name of Xiao Feng Feng. After those performances, the hosts asked us to play a game. But unfortunately, you must be 21 years and above to come up and play. Not fair! But it's okay! The volunteers all win free tickets to see other live concerts in Genting, which doesn't amuses me much.
Finally, the big concert starts. Of course, there was a game in between. The best game was sing the song from your envolope.
Before we go home, the host and the stars began to throw ang pows (red packets with money) to the audiences. Boy! What a crowd that went in front. It's a good thing I didn't went in front because I realised that inside the packet was only RM1.

Well, that's all about my experiences during CNY eve in Genting. I find the show quite boring than Francis Yip's Christmas concert but it's worth it.

Going to Genting

Yayy!! I'm finally going to Genting to watch a CNY concert in GICC again!! It's actually a dinner and a show, which is very costly, but it's like a once in a lifetime thing. Well, this is my second time going there. The first time I've been there is around 2009 during Christmas, where we watch Francis Yip, a star from Hong Kong, live in concert.
I hope this concert is fun. I'll bring back some photos to post it in Facebook and here as well.
