Bukit Tinggi Trip (Day 2)

We got up at 8 am in the morning. I was still sleepy because mom was snoring so loud last night I couldn't get some wink. Ugh! Should have brought ear muffs. Anyways, we had coffee and biscuits. After drinking a cup of coffee, I went back to sleep while mom and my teacher chatted. Her family left early for Ipoh already so it's just the three of us remaining.
Once we got showered up, we went to the French Village again to have a snack. I didn't eat anything in our room so I had a tuna sandwich. Good thing it isn't big like the one last night. I had a mango juice too. Next we find a shuttle bus that took us to the Japanese garden up the hill.  No wonder they don't let the cars go up the hill. It was very steep and it was limited parking space. Only the staff can go up with their cars.
We had to climb all the way up the the garden. It looks exactly like real Japanese garden but only dirty. In real Japan, you won't find it very dirty ;).
Back to the post! We took some good photos of the Japanese houses. Most of the time I'm in the photos.

There's also a place where you can rent a kimono and take photos and do a tea ceremony. But the kimono rental costs you about RM20 and the tea ceremony cost you about RM23. So we just continue exploring. And my, what a long walk. We reach back at the souvenir shop panting and rest our legs. Once we're rested, we walk down the hill and wait for the shuttle bus to take us back to the apartment for check out. This is one moment I don't like with shuttle buses. So, guys, if you ever want to go to Japanese garden, I suggest you should drive your car up and walk because if you're taking shuttle buses, you have to wait 1 hour or 45 minutes to reach your destination (both in and out).
We checked out around 1 pm and went to pick up more pine cones.

That's all about my trip to Bukit Tinggi. Hope you enjoy reading it.

Bukit Tinggi Trip (Day 1)

Last Wednesday during Deepavali holidays, my mom went up to Bukit Tinggi with my maths teacher and her family. It was like a well done gift for getting a credit for SPM re-take exam. We were supposed to go on Tuesday but my teacher's sick. So we extend it to Wednesday. And she got better. That's what I called perfect timing. After our breakfast and shower, we put our things and went straight to their house. Before the journey ahead, we pumped up our petrol. For me, it's toilet time.
Once we reach there, we checked in to our apartment. We stayed at Meranti Apartment (will get the name later). Aahh! Settled! We love the sceneries from our balcony too. We're next door to each other. Lol!

Next we head to the country club house for our lunch. It was a good lunch too. I had a chicken chop with spicy sauce, which really burns up my tongue. Of course, I took a picture of a pine cone for myself and walked around the club house.

After lunch, we wanted to go to the rabbit farm and horse riding. But oh dear! It was raining! So we got no choice but to go somewhere else. And that is the French Village. When you go into the village, the building itself looks like you're in France with the shops and restaurants below. Of course, there are people staying there too but must be costly. I love it!! We took some pictures there too with the horse carriage.

Then the Lee family went into the painting shop to do some art work. It's for the two little kids, Janae and Emma. There are a lot of art work inside. You could do it there or bring back home one to do it yourself. Suddenly I heard some music. While they are busy, I went ahead to check out. There was a show going on. It's like some kind of Mediterranean dance. At the end, the dancers took some audiences to the stage and dance "Macarina". It's a good thing I didn't went up.

There was a magic show after that. No photos or videos of that performance cause was too amazed to take any. Lol :p. Then we went sightseeing. The one attracts me the most was the tall bell tower. Yeah, we took up the lift and on to the top we go. The family rejoins us later. We took lots of photos too. Nice weather too, even if its raining.
Of course, that's not the only one that attracts us. There's also real swans too down by the lake. Two white ones and two black ones. I took some photos of them too. Many people were feeding the swans.

What a fun and tiring day at the French Village. Next is dinner time! We went back to the club house again for our dinner. This time I order egg mayo sandwiches with wedges. I didn't expect them to be so much. we had dessert too. It's a three scoop of ice cream with jelly at the bottom. It's raining again outside but it's cooler.

We really had so much fun even though it rained. I slept early in my room after hearing some K-Pop music from my phone. Day 2 will be next.

3rd Wave Concert at FGA

Last night, I went to this Korean concert called '3rd Wave: I Will Be There Music Rally' live in my church, FGA KL. Yeah, I went alone. My friend, Vanessa, was suppose to come with me but unfortunately, she told me she has family function at night last minute. Even my former church friend, Sarah, can't go with me too :(. Too bad they miss the fun.
Okay, to start my review now. I arrived at my church quite late because of the jam. It was almost 8 pm. But as I went inside, people are still lining up. So, I took my seat at the back, not wanting to be in the front, as I'm quite a shy girl being alone to a concert for the first time.
As I got out from the toilet, the concert started with three boys dancing. Then later, our Malaysian artists Starpark came out and greet us in English and Mandarin. And they start off with some praise and worship songs, just 3 songs only.
Then on with the show!! The two pastors came out and introduced Brian and Ps (Pastor) Johnny, the founder of 3rd Wave, from South Korea. My, what great expression they had on stage. Ha ha!! All the girls were squealling in delight. I forgot how many songs they perform, as I'm new to them. Then later, guess who came out? Alexander (Xander for short), the former member of a boy band, U Kiss!! Again, girls were screaming like mad. He can even speak Mandarin on the stage too. Lol! He and Brian know how to make us laugh.
After all their songs ended, Ps Johnny came out to say a few message, together with Ps Philip, who is a Mandarin interpreter for each word he's saying.
Before the concert ended, I noticed some CDs outside the foyer earlier when I came into the church and a sign says "Autograph Session with Brian, Alexander and Ps Johnny". I then bought two CDs for myself and Vanessa :). RM30 each.
Well, the concert ended. But it's not over yet :). What comes after every concert? Autograph signing, of course!! Good thing I bought the CDs in a nick of time, just to avoid the crowded audiences. I went to the far end of my right hand side to line up for signing. Only those who bought the CD can get their autographs. In the line, I met a few students from my secondary school. They are now taking SPM this year. Good luck to them. They know my mom well just before me and her left.
Below are the photos of the line. Managed to take a few. Sorry, no photos of the three members of 3rd Wave here because the ushers don't allowed us to.

One of the students from my school.

Yeah, as I said, three members came out to signed our CDs. One boy helped me to signed my other CD. Thank you. I forgot his name :p.
When my turn came, the usher standing next to their table put out my CD and have them signed. First was Brian. I got a hand shake from him and he said, "Thank you for coming." Next was Alexander. Also got a hand shake from him and he said the same thing as Brian. Last is Ps Johnny. No more hand shake though but it's okay :). I can see he was busy signing CDs. I told them, "You guys were awesome!!" with thumbs up and Xander said, "Well, thank you for supporting us." Aww, what a cute guy. He reminds me of David Archuleta. Lol! I didn't manage to talk to them a lot cause the ushers are rushing us. Well, now I understand what signing session experience sounds and look like. After signing, I took back my other CD and went to look for mom.
Well, I had a fun time though. I will regret coming if I didn't go and see them. Please do come back to Malaysia soon, 3rd Wave. Here are is CD signed and what's inside the CD.

Looks like a mini poster

Oh yes, before I forget, I saw 3rd Wave again during church service today. Ha ha!! Of course, they just sat there for services. I didn't meet them again cause mom was rushing off to find dad.
Just one more thing. In case you don't know how the three members I mention earlier look like and you can't really see them in my photos because of the audiences blocking or it's your first time knowing who they are, here is a photo of them taken at the airport just before they fly to Malaysia. I do not own this photo. Credit goes to the photographer.

Wet and Wild Fun Day

Today we had a CF event called 'Wet and Wild'. 12 of us came to participate. It was still drizzling but God knows how to manage the weather ;).
After we got to the field, we start off with the first game called 'Bingo'! No, not playing with numbers but playing using badminton. Me and Yi Ping got the first one to get a Bingo each. Yay!! While we wait, we play our normal badminton game.
Then on to the second game led by Reuel. We have to burst each others balloon tied to our leg. I didn't like it that much cause I don't like balloon games.
3rd game was led by Samuel. Again it's balloon game. We had to cross to the cone using our legs to support the balloon and burst it with our legs. However, I burst it with my feet which makes my toes a bit cramp. Luckily my friend En Hui helped me. Thanks :).
The 4th game was gonna be wet. Good thing they stated to bring extra clothes on FB. Each group had to fill up the water bottle by using a plastic bag with lots of holes on it and pass it to one another over your head. Finally we had our water balloon fight!!! Weeee!!! It was almost starting to rain but who cares!! At least we are all wet. The other students must be thinking "Why are these people wet?" LOL!!
I had so much fun today :D!! It was a great day even though it rained.
